Opener Saim Ayub proved his mettle by scoring a quickfire 53-ball century to take Pakistan to a thumping victory by 10 wickets in the second one-day international against Zimbabwe played in Bulawayo on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The left-hander remained unbeaten after scoring 113 runs off 62 balls studded with three sixes and 17 fours.
Other opener Abdullah Shafique was not out on 32 when Pakistan surpassed their target of 146 runs in the 19th over, levelling the series 1-1.
Pakistan spinners destroy Zimbabwe for 145 runs
Earlier, Pakistani bowlers spun their magic during the second one-day international against Zimbabwe in Bulawayo, bowling out the hosts for just 145 runs in 32.3 overs.
Abrar Ahmed led from the front claiming four wickets for 33 runs in eight overs. Salman Agha grabbed three wickets for 26 runs in seven overs.
Saim Ayub and Faisal Akram took one wicket each.
Earlier, Zimbabwe captain won the toss and decided to bat first in the second ODI being played at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo.
The hosts are leading the three-match series by 1-0. Zimbabwe won the first ODI by 80 runs in the rain-affected match.
Pakistan made two changes in their line-up, by including two debutants, while Zimbabwe were going in unchanged.

Pakistan and Zimbabwe have come face-to-face 63 times in ODIs with the former boasting a dominant record with 54 victories, compared to the opposition’s six, while two matches ended in no results.
