Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Saturday inaugurated 6km long highway on Sandspit Beach located in the recently-created District Kemari of Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Murad Ali Shah said, “Pakistan Navy has always supported the development of Karachi. We wish to do more projects with the Pakistan Navy.”

The ceremony was also attended by senior officers of the Pakistan Navy and Sindh Information Minister Syed Nasir Hussain and Murtaza Wahab. He said the Sindh government will launch more projects in the Kemari district despite the paucity of funds.

Murad Ali Shah Shah said the K-IV project is now being shifted to the central government. He regretted that the federal government blamed the Sindh government even for gas and electricity issues.

Nasir Hussain Shah said the project’s completion date was 21 June, 2021, but on the special instructions of the Sindh chief minister, it has now been completed much earlier.

Sindh government spokesperson Murtaza Wahab in a tweet said besides the road infrastructure, mobile toilets have also been placed for the benefit of commuters.
