Justice Jahangiri, Justice Babar take oath as IHC’s permanent judges

Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri and Justice Babar Sattar have taken oath as permanent judges in Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah administered oath to both the permanent judges.
Judges were sworn in a special ceremony held here at the Islamabad High Court in which judicial officers, lawyers and court reporters participated.
Both judges served as additional judges for one year, who were recommended to be made permanent by the Judicial Commission.
The notification about the approval of the permanent appointment of judges from the President of Pakistan, which was issued by the Law Ministry on December 24 was also read out in the oath-taking ceremony.
