On the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the Socio-Economic Registry Project has been officially started in the province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a video link session, Minister Maryam Nawaz has given the task to concerned Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners to monitor Khushali Survey.
Under the Socio-Economic Registry, the economic status of houses and households across the province will also be recorded. Under the Socio-Economic Registry, people in villages can register themselves on the portal from home and can also approach the helpline 0800-02345.
Livestock will also be counted. Five thousand registration centers have been established across the province for Socio-Economic Registry. Only those registered in the Economic Registry will be entitled to the Social Protection Project.
Registered citizens will be eligible to apply for e-Bike, Roshan Gharana Solar Program, Himat Card, Kisan Card, Health Card, Livestock Card and other social protection programs including Scholarship Program.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that due to authentic data, the right will be given to the original right holder. Registration in the Socio-Economic Registry project has been made easy for the people. She said that this project will help the government to solve the problems of the people. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif directed to provide ease to the public for registration at the registration centers. Provincial Minister of Information and Culture Zahid Bukhari and other officials were also present.
Meanwhile, CM Maryam Nawaz in her message on World Hepatitis Day said that prevention of hepatitis by taking preventive measures is easy while the treatment is long and difficult.
Punjab Chief Minister Sharif said that pollution-free environment and clean drinking water prevent many diseases. The number of hepatitis B and C patients is increasing rapidly, and collective efforts must be made to eradicate it
She said hepatitis, a silent killer, is affecting the lives of millions of people - more public awareness and awareness is essential to prevent hepatitis.
She said that free vaccination and treatment for prevention of hepatitis in all hospitals across the province. The test facility is available. Chief Minister appealed to the people to follow preventive measures to prevent hepatitis. By bringing a waste management system in every city, it will also be possible to prevent hepatitis and other diseases.
