ASF recovers 2.5kg ice from couple at Lahore Airport

Airport Security Force (ASF) has recovered 2.5 kilogram of ice (crystal methamphetamine) from a couple going to Doha during an operation at Lahore Airport, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
According to spokesman of ASF, baggage of passenger Akash Masih and Ani Akash was declared suspicious during screening.
On searching their baggage, ice was recovered in the form of two separate packets hidden in the secret compartments of their bag.
The ASF personnel proved their professionalism by recovering drugs and foiling smuggling attempt.
After initial investigation, the accused were handed over to ANF authorities for further legal action along with recovered drugs.
