Smog level rises again: Lahore’s AQI reaches 250 points

Despite provincial government’s precautionary measures, air quality index in Lahore is continue to rise after registering decline during the last week, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

The smog level has started increasing and on Friday Air Quality Index (AQI) rate was recorded at 250. Owing to increase in smog level, patients affected with throat infections are increasing in in various hospitals in the provincial capital. Environment department and health experts have advised public to take precautionary measures especially the use of face mask, stay home and avoid unnecessary travel.
