Public Holiday announced in Lahore tomorrow

The Lahore district will observe a local public holiday tomorrow, as announced by the Government of Punjab, as reported by 24News HD TV Channel on Monday.
The notification for the local holiday on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, was issued with the signatures of the Additional Chief Secretary. In light of this, educational institutions including schools, colleges, and universities in Lahore will remain closed.
The holiday will be observed solely in Lahore District and its subordinate offices. Notably, this does not apply to the Punjab Civil Secretariat, its Attached Departments, and Regional Offices.
The declaration comes ahead of the expected visit of the Iranian President to Lahore tomorrow.
