Roshni, Maheen’s worlds come crashing down in 'Bandhay Ek Dour Se'

Bandhay Ek Dour Se is one of the most entertaining and captivating dramas on-air these days with a strong cast, powerful performances, exciting dialogues and plot, and flawless direction.

The drama produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi under 7th Sky Entertainment has garnered a lot of appreciation for putting forth some quality family entertainment and highlighting issues that are too relatable for the audience.

Six episodes down, the drama continues to be engaging and entertaining, while the chemistry between the older family members of the drama is the highlight of the drama.

While the main story is about the younger lead characters, the elders of the family further make it worth tuning in to. Last night’s episode was another engaging one and brought some decent developments in Maheen and Roshni’s lives.

The episode mainly revolved around Maheen’s mehndi event and her Nikah, but there were also a few scenes showing how Roshni continued to remain under the impression that Nabeel wanted to get married to her. Roshni’s aspirations and dreams of marrying a wealthy guy like Nabeel were shattered when she found out that this wasn’t what Nabeel and his mother were thinking, and they only wanted to keep her in the house.

On the other hand, Maheen tried to corner Omer many times and tell him the truth about Roshni but couldn’t do it. However, her attempts strengthened Omer’s bhabhi’s misunderstanding that Omer and Maheen loved each other and couldn’t get married.

Maheen’s in-laws turned out to quite greedy and demanded a car before Nikah. This was an unreasonable demand on their part since they knew that Maheen was an orphan and her mother wouldn’t be able to fulfill such a demand.

Maheen, who was already down with fever and flu, couldn’t take this setback and becomes unconscious.

The preview of the next episode suggests some major decision making for the lives of Omer and Maheen, so let’s see how the drama moves on.
