CIA personnel who raided PML-N office in Hafizabad suspended

Taking notice of the raid by CIA Lahore personnel on the PML-N’s public office in Hafizabad, Punjab Inspector General of Police (IGP) Usman Anwar on Monday ordered the suspension of all personnel involved in the raid besides an inquiry to know the reasons which led to the incident, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Over eight CIA personnel had raided the party’s office without the registration of a case and took away with them more than five men working there. 

According to the police officials, the raid was conducted without informing the senior officials about it in advance.

CCTV footage of the incident shows that the personnel even resorted to vandalism at the office building.
