The Central Selection Board, chaired by the Chairman of the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC), has approved the promotion of 10 professors and principals to Grade 20 in the federal bureaucracy.

As part of the promotion process, Principal Ghulam Hussain Sahu has been recommended for appointment as Deputy Director General of the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE). Dr. Saeed Ahmed and Muhammad Saeed have been promoted as Professors at Model Colleges under the FDE, while Shazia Shamim Rizvi has also been elevated to the same position.

Additionally, Lubna Mahmood, Mehreen Ashraf, Umm-e-Rabab, and Nusrat Bashir have been promoted as Senior Headmistresses at FDE institutions. Meanwhile, Saira Malik and Asia Khan have been approved for promotion as Principals of Islamabad Model Schools.

In another key decision, Rai Muhammad Akbar, Director of the Directorate of Workers Education, has been promoted to the position of Director General in Grade 20.
