Five shot dead over old enmity in Gujranwala

Unidentified motorcyclists shot dead five people at Jameel Shaheed Chowk in the jurisdiction of Satellite Police Station in Gujranwala on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to police, the incident was a result an old enmity. They said that all the five people were riding a car when the gunmen sprayed the vehicle with bullets, killing them on the spot.
Police sources said that Rana Iftikhar alias Khari was also killed in the firing. However, further investigation was underway.
A few days ago, two youths were also gunned down on the same road.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minsiter Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi took notice of the killings. He sought a report from the inspector general of polcie, directing the police to arrest the culprits as soon as possible.
