Bridge collapse in Naran causes six-hour traffic jam

A bridge collapse at Battal in Naran Thursday caused a massive traffic jam trapping thousands of tourists and hundreds of vehicles for hours, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The bridge broke at Battal which is a town two kilometres away from Naran. The construction of a new bridge was underway.

The road has been blocked for six hours and it may take another four to six hours for its restoration. The tourists expressed extreme frustration and anger over the situation.
