On completion of another project, pending for 10 years, Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has inaugurated police apartments near Bhubtian in Lahore and allotted 90 flats to police employees, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.


Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the police apartments and inspected the construction quality on Saturday.


On the occasion, Inspector General Police briefed Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi regarding police apartments.


Speaking in the inauguration ceremony of police apartments, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that this was also a long stalled project, which was completed by our government.


Police Force should be proud of Inspector General Dr. Usman Anwar because he has done great things for you, said Mohsen Naqvi.


The CM said that worked a lot for police welfare in 13 months and made great efforts to solve the problems of police accommodation.


Chief Secretary Punjab and IG Police also addressed the event.


Chief Secretary, Inspector General of Police, Secretary Construction and Communications, CCPO, Commissioner and related officials were present on the occasion.


Punjab CM inaugurates CBD Route 47


Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated Central Business District (CBD) Route 47 on Saturday.


Chief Executive Officer CBD Imran Amin briefed Punjab CM about the project.


It was briefed that the project has cost Rs1 billion and the project has been completed in 60 days.


Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that CBD has established itself as an asset for the development of Punjab province.


He said there will be a CBD Route 47 to Main Boulevard Gulberg to Walton Road link.


The CM said CBD Route 47 will help in solving the traffic problems in the city of Lahore on a permanent basis.


“I am hopeful that CBD Punjab will also complete all its ongoing projects ahead of schedule”, Mohsin Naqvi said.


He said that CBD Punjab has an important and key role in the development of Punjab province.


CBD Route 47 Main Boulevard Gulberg will connect CBD Punjab Quaid District with Walton Road and CBD Punjab Bab District, Mohsin Naqvi said.


He said CBD Route 47 is a two-way road with 6 lanes and is 4.2 km long.


Mohsin Naqvi said CBD has completed projects with speed and diligence and other ongoing projects in Lahore will also be completed by CBD soon.


Secretary Housing and CBD Imran Amin has worked hard and completed the projects, for which I congratulate him, said Mohsen Naqvi.


The CM further said CBD also launched a low-cost housing scheme for journalists, which has been drawn.


Similarly, housing scheme for government employees will also be completed soon, Mohsin Naqvi added.


He said these measures will make life easier for people.


Provincial Ministers Aamir Mir, Azfar Ali Nasir, Commissioner Lahore, CEO CBD Punjab Imran Amin, COOC CBD Punjab Brigadier ® Mansoor Janjua and other senior officers were present in the inauguration ceremony.


Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the head office of Punjab Safe Cities Authority Qurban Lines Lahore.


Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that work has been started on smart safe city projects in eighteen big cities while the Safe City system has been made operational in Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Gujranwala.


At the end of the visit, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi was also presented with a commemorative shield.
