The high-profile Mustafa Amir murder case has taken a dramatic turn after shocking revelations about the involvement of TV actor Sajid Hasan’s son, Sahir Hasan, in drug dealings.

Sources disclosed that Sahir Hasan was not only addicted to weed but also grew cannabis plants at home. Following his arrest, police have now included his manager, Mir Mukarram Ali, in the investigation, as all drug money was allegedly transferred into Mukarram’s bank account.

Investigators have compiled a major list of suspects linked to the drug trade and are working on a strategy to dismantle the network.

Authorities are also reviewing Mukarram Ali’s complete bank records to trace illegal transactions.

Shockingly, during interrogation, Sahir Hasan admitted that his father, actor Sajid Hasan, was aware of his drug use, sources claim.

Dramatic gunfight in DHA Karachi and arrest of killer

Today, Karachi’s Anti-Terrorism Court received a police report detailing the violent confrontation that took place during the arrest of Armughan, the key suspect in Mustafa’s kidnapping and murder.

According to the report, when police raided Armughan’s bungalow in Defence, he opened fire with sophisticated weapons, injuring DSP Ahsan Zulfiqar and Constable Muhammad Iqbal. Police forced entry by ramming the gate with a police vehicle, ultimately overpowering the suspect after an intense gun battle.

PTI’s Latif Khosa demands minister’s resign

Senior PTI leader and lawyer Latif Khosa visited Mustafa Amir’s family and lashed out at the authorities, stating, "Had this happened in another country, the provincial home minister would have resigned by now. Instead, in Pakistan, only SHOs and SSPs are suspended while real accountability is ignored."

He also criticised police for failing to recover Mustafa in time, calling their delay a major factor in his tragic murder.

Mustafa Amir's father demands justice

On this occasion, Mustafa Amir's father said that the AVCC police investigation officer is investigating the case and no interference is being made in it.

Mustafa Amir's father demanded that the accused be brought to justice and expressed satisfaction over the investigation and action taken by the police.

Judicial proceedings & int'l hunt for female witness

On February 23, a judicial magistrate of Karachi West on Sunday granted physical remand of accused Sahar Hassan and handed him over to police custody.

During the hearing, the Special Investigative Unit (SIU) of police produced the accused, and the investigation officer (IO) informed the court that police recovered more than 500 grams of narcotics from the possession of the accused.

It is necessary to mention here that accused Sahar Hassan is the son of renowned TV actor Sajid Hassan. Authorities stated drugs were recovered from Sajid's son.

It is worth mentioning here that Mustafa went missing on January 6, and his mother filed a report the next day. The case took a turn after a ransom call was received on January 25.

A raid on February 9 led to a violent standoff and the eventual arrest of Armughan, the key suspect, who later retracted his claim of disposing of the body in Malir.

Further investigation revealed that Armughan, with accomplice Shiraz, murdered Mustafa after a dispute over a girl. Authorities are now seeking the girl Rimsha Shahid’s testimony, with efforts underway to contact her through Interpol.
