Saudi Arabia to support Sindh govt in flood victims’ rehabilitation

Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki on Thursday called on Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and assured him of his country’s complete support in rehabilitation of flood-affected people, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Saudi Ambassador Said Al-Malki congratulated the Sindh CM for holding a successful donors conference. 

Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah said construction of homes for flood victims, restoration of agriculture and irrigation were big challenges. He said with the help of donations pledged in donors conference, government will keep its promises of rehabilitating the flood victims. 

Murad said Sindh government wanted to provide homes to flood victims with two rooms, a corridor, a kitchen and a washroom. 

Saudi envoy said his government will extend full cooperation to Sindh government in constructing homes for flood-affected people. 

Saudi Consul General Bandar Fahad Al Dayel was also present during the meeting.
